How to use
Ultimate Brightness Control

Up and running in under a minute. Here's everything you need to know.

Getting started

Open the popup
Click the ☀ icon in your Chrome toolbar on any page you want to adjust.

Move the slider
Drag to your preferred brightness. Changes apply instantly to the current tab.

Site-specific mode
Enable Apply only to this site to save a different value per hostname.

Quick disable
Use Disable here to skip one site, or Disable everywhere to pause globally.

Troubleshooting

Extension seems inactive? Check if you're on a browser page like chrome:// or chrome-extension://. Chrome blocks site controls on its own internal pages — this is a platform restriction, not a bug.
🎬
Fullscreen video not dimmed? Make sure the extension is enabled globally and not disabled for that site. The extension is specifically built to handle fullscreen — if it stops working, try toggling it off and back on.

Settings not saving? The extension uses Chrome's local storage. Make sure you haven't cleared site data for the extension's origin.
