Built to solve
one real problem.

Most brightness extensions stop working the moment a video enters fullscreen. This one doesn't.

The problem we solved

❌ The problem
Other brightness extensions work by placing an overlay on top of the page. When a video enters fullscreen, the browser moves the video into a top layer above that overlay — making the dimming effect disappear entirely.
✓ Our approach
Ultimate Brightness Control keeps dimming active in fullscreen and iframe video players by using a different rendering strategy that persists through layer changes.

Philosophy

This extension does exactly one thing and aims to do it perfectly. No accounts. No bloat. No upsells. Just a brightness slider that actually works.

It was built out of frustration with tools that break at the worst moment — right when you've dimmed everything for a movie and the player goes fullscreen.
